BURNING SNOW is a short atmospheric experience about staying warm in a cold forest and eventually launching a firework. Seek matches and make fire while a mysterious cat companion guides you through the forest.

This is my first-ever 3D game, so I really hope you find it fun! I mostly focused on the visuals and tried to make the game as polished and atmospheric as I could! Please enjoy! :)

Cool game! On my first run I got stuck by the crate during the fire tutorial and froze to death. On the next one I made it out alive, but the ending is open, so I’m still not sure about that…

i didn't use the matches the whole game almost,only one time bc i had to somehow continue the game, sadly i didn't frozze, only the walking slowed down pleaaaasssssee make it that it's actually a threat :3
what's the point of burning the buches if it dosen't do anything, it just helps me to free my screen and make me walk faster

I didn't want to introduce a real threat in a short story game, as I felt it wouldn't suit the intended atmosphere and pacing, so I only added a soft penalty in the form of speed decrease and a visual overlay.
It's interesting that you completed the game without using the bushes, since they're meant to be part of the intended flow. I might need to make their purpose clearer.
the game is amazing feels like unfish big projcet that's about to come out!, love it i just though it would be cool, keep making more games with this type of atmostfere and you will get the best game award maker
